Robin Bark Motor Art
Robin Bark is a sculptor and painter based in East Sussex, UK.
He studied at Goldsmiths University, London and taught Design in colleges and at university before returning to making his own work, blending his passion for iconic classic cars with his love of Art.
His minimalist approach captures the essence of his subject in as little detail as possible.
His current painting style, uses large areas of bold, flat colour, recalling his time as a poster artist.
The highly tactile, solid aluminium sculptures impart a sense of speed as their polished surfaces reflect the light.
Ford’s chief designer, Moray Callum (2015 Mustang designer) said of Robin’s 50th anniversary sculpture, “Robin has captured the essence of one of the greatest Mustangs in his sculpture, creating an object of Art that appears to be fluid motion”.
